Some people prefer to watch news everyday, while others prefer to watch news once in a while. Which do you prefer and why?
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
People are more interested in bad news rather than good news.
选watch news once in a while,因为每天看新闻会接受很多负面信息,让人心情不好。
示范:
I would prefer to watch news once in a while, because if I watch it everyday, it is actually adding up to my pressure. For example, I rememeber when I was in high school, I was stressed out over my schoolwork before college entrance exam and all that. So I just decided not to watch news everyday because they could make me feel uneasy, like somebody got killed in a car accident or somebody jumped off a building and died, I mean, I didn’t need that daily dose of depressive messages. So I’d just watch news once in a while to keep me informed of something I need to know like, policy change or local stuff, you know, something I could relate to.
